Round One!!

By Bob Giuda, on Jan 14, 2010

With a clean sweep in Tuesday’s special elections, the people of New Hampshire sent a clear message that the wild spending spree in Concord and the massive expansion of state government are not acceptable. The 26% increase in state spending passed by the Democrats over the past two budgets has produced a $450 million deficit. Dozens of new taxes, fees and fee increases passed by the Democrats, and signed into law by Governor Lynch, are wreaking havoc with our businesses and have ruined our once-renowned business climate.

Intellectual Dishonesty

The real travesty in the development of public policy today is the absence of truth in the method used to define a problem, whether it is the "climate change" fraud or the health care "crisis".

When a government refuses to acknowledge truth, derived using the scientific method which includes and tests all variables, includes data that contraindicates the hypothesis, and welcomes critical thinking and challenges to that hypothesis, we are on the brink of tyranny of a sort that is lethal to both the founding principles of our republic and to the human spirit that is the fuel needed to preserve it.

Incompetence, or Willful Negligence?

By bringing Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, mastermind of 9/11, to New York City for a criminal trial in the U.S. Court system, this President has once again demonstrated his disregard for the rights, interests, safety and history of the American people.

A non-military trial may just provide a legal loophole the size of New York Harbor for the Muslim fanatic who was responsible for the worst terrorist incident in history. Mohammed’s lawyers will likely claim a violation of due process because he was denied a “speedy trial” as required by the Constitution. That presents the very real possibility that this murderous war criminal could go free – in New York City!

Not On My Watch

By Bob Giuda, on Oct 29, 2009

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

This oath, taken by every member of Congress, says one thing and one thing only: that their sworn obligation is to protect the principles embodied in our Constitution so that future generations of Americans will be free. Many of them are betraying that promise, as they pass bill after bill, heaping ruinous debt on our citizens, and fostering socialism with government takeovers of major segments of our economy.
